I’ve already read this – just take me to the music.

What do you get when you cross a female writer and entertainer who wants to help others heal from limbic system dysregulation with a supportive and talented songwriter / musician husband who shares her testimony of Jesus Christ? FAITH SQUARED MUSIC! And Faith Squared Music is music with a mission! Read on:

We want folks to learn these songs well enough to sing along, whether listening casually or as part of purposeful daily brain-rewiring practices. Doing so can be a powerful and important part of anyone’s healing path.
Most of the lyrics are written in first person so that the messages delivered while singing along are carried from your mouth to your own brain and heart. What you tell yourself daily has more impact on the way you think, behave, and feel than any message from an outside entity.
We’ve chosen a great variety of genres in hopes that entertainment value will encourage ongoing engagement… because continuing repetition of any methodology is crucial to successful brain rewiring.
The majority of the songs include humor. Let them make you smile! Smiling while rewiring greatly increases the release of endorphins and other powerful healing chemicals. This associates positive emotions with the messages, and strengthens the new neural pathways.
We encourage listening and singing with an open and prayerful heart. This is the best way to discern any inspiration or insight that might be waiting for you within the lyrics.
Not every song is overtly Christian or religious. Truth is truth and science is science, whether or not a verbal acknowledgement of the source of that truth and science is included every time. Those particular songs may have stronger appeal with non-religious audiences and that is a fine thing.
Lyrics have been written for 19 songs. We will add songs to this page as they are composed and recorded, with plans for using additional singers (and potentially new composers) as we go.

We never set out to record songs that were “Top 40 worthy,” in production styles or in mass appeal. Our purposes are simple: Sharing this music with as many people as we can, hoping especially to reach those who desire and need healing and wholeness through a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore, we chose to make the songs (and the lyrics) available for free here and on YouTube. (But please consider that purchasing downloadable tracks on Band Camp allows you more listening options AND will also increase our ability to expand our outreach.)

We have a dream that many of these songs find new life and new audiences… performed in churches, schools, and other appropriate venues. Can’t you just imagine some future arrangement of My BFF being sung on stage by a school choir!? (Small tweaks of lyrics to make such songs public school friendly will be included as we continue to build out our library.) This is why you will find lyric sheets (in PDF format) linked below, as well as links to each song on Band Camp. We will be making accompaniment tracks available on Band Camp as well.
